Who it is for

When the business needs more than an accountant

Our clients grow with us. When a business reaches this stage, it needs someone who sees the whole picture: money, tax, people and risk.

Turnover over £1 million

Too complex for monthly accounting, too early for an in-house finance director.

Groups and holdings

Several companies, intercompany flows and one picture of the whole group.

More than one country

Trading or owning assets in several tax jurisdictions.

Property and trusts

Buying, developing or holding property, and family or trust structures.

Growth or investment

Expanding, opening new lines, or preparing for investors and lenders.

Stuck and need new ideas

When the business has stalled and you need a fresh look at where the money is.

What we do

Finance, tax and strategy in one team

We do the work of the chief accountant and finance director you would otherwise hire, and bring the tax and legal knowledge most in-house teams do not have. We advise; you and your board decide.

Financial analytics

Margins, sales, costs and stock. Whether a promotion, an advert or a new hire actually pays, measured in pounds, not opinions.

Tax architecture

Holdings, groups, international structures, trusts and property. We draw the tax picture before you act, with every option costed.

Strategy and new ventures

Business plans and development plans worked out in figures, loan and funding packs prepared, a new idea checked for its risks and tax, and us at the table in your negotiations.

Systems and control

Software chosen and connected, processes written down, control points set, the way an auditor would design them.

Full accounting and compliance

Bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year-end accounts and Corporation Tax, all included. No separate accountant needed.

A finance director on your team

One named person in your WhatsApp group, who knows your business and answers your team directly.

Usually companies with a turnover of £1 million or more, groups of companies, businesses trading in several countries, property businesses and owners with trusts or holding structures. If your business has outgrown monthly accounting but is not ready for an in-house finance director, this is the step in between.

Yes. Every plan includes your full accounting and tax compliance: bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year-end accounts and Corporation Tax. You do not need a separate bookkeeper or accountant.

Monthly accounting keeps your company compliant. Here, a finance director works inside your business: we analyse margins, costs and marketing, plan cash and tax ahead, join your negotiations and help you decide where the business goes next.

Yes. We map the tax picture before you act: holding companies, groups, trading in more than one tax jurisdiction, trusts and property. You see the risks and the cost of each option before a decision is made.

Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statement for the month and the year to date, your key figures, aged debtors and creditors, and a short commentary on what changed and why. On the higher plans it also compares results with your budget and forecast.

Your finance director is in your WhatsApp group with your team. On the Strategic plan, urgent questions are answered outside office hours too.

No. We act as your outsourced finance director: we prepare the figures, analyse, model the options and advise, and you and your board make every decision. We are not appointed as a director at Companies House, and our engagement letter sets out exactly what we do.

With a strategy call. Then we review your finances, show you what we found and propose a plan with a fixed monthly fee. Nothing is agreed until you have seen it.
